The screen has to be raised at least 1", at the mirrors to start getting optimum airflow over both sides. After that it's a matter of adjusting it to the height that works for each driver. The screens are designed to provide optimum protection at much lower screen settings than stock or other screens. And, you Should NOT have to look through the screen to get air over your helmet.  You still have the full range of adjustment.
