 AeroFlow K1200GT & K1200RS Testimonials - Up to 2005
I've been using the tall touring shield for about 8 months now and it is truly a great product. I have great protection from the wind as compared to the original screen which was useless. Without the AeroFlow I doubt if I would still own my bike. It never ceases to amaze me how apparently little thought manufacturers put into how their OEM windscreens actually work (or don't work as is usually the case). I've also had the occasion to experience to receive some of your good customer service when a bolt from the windscreen mount decided to leave at about 80 MPH-- you shipped me a new one at no cost, no questions asked, and I was back on the road in 3 days.  I've included a few shots of my bike with the screen in case you should need some. Paige Ortiz and Associates,
First let me say Wow.. what a great screen and what a improvement over the standard and comfort screens produced by BMW.
The performance and protection are unparalleled compared to the stock screens. Two friends with the same K12's were equally impressed and plan to order. Another Rt rider said it made such a great improvement that he would consider a K12RS purchase in the future. I immediately noticed no wind noise, I can hear the engine hum.. I was in a nice still air pocket at varying speeds (didn't even need my ear plugs: although I still believe in wearing them) , no buffeting and no back pressure, I was especially happy that this new std size screen also eliminated the front shoulder pressure which seemed to bother me the most, as at the end of a 300-400 mile day my shoulders ached. I am 5'11"and use 50mm barbacks, at this riding position, I was in total comfort from the wind. I tried both the down and up positions (I was able to easily but carefully change positions while riding) and find the down position to be the most suitable for normal riding. I can easily see over the top . In the up position I need to sit up a little to look over the top but do not find looking through the screen objectionable. I got caught in a down pour and the up position deflected the water up and over my Helmut leaving a clear view. This past weekend I put on several hundred miles and really enjoyed the screen and had no discomfort.
Congratulations Aeroflow!! Another well engineered product .

Hi everyone,
I received my Aeroflow windshield for my new BMW K1200GT yesterday. Frankly, I didn’t think I was up to the task of installing it, but after talking to a woman in your customer service department, she convinced me that I could do it.
The installation went perfectly, and I really appreciate the care you took in the instructions to tape areas subject to scratching, etc. I pulled it off without a blemish on my bike or the Aeroflow.
The difference on the bike is amazing! With the windshield at the maximum height, I was actually able to hear my passenger thru my full face helmet at 70 mph. (Of course, she was saying “faster, faster!”) I really liked the K1200GT before, but now I absolutely love it. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth a $300+ upgrade, but I can say without a doubt, that this is the best upgrade I have ever done to any bike. Thank you for designing a quality product.
Thank you,
John Howman
