Good Morning, I contacted you a
while back regarding putting an Aero Flow wind screen on my R1100GS that I had
put the big Adventure tank on. Paige said he didn't think there would be a
problem so I ordered one a little over a month ago. It arrived on a Wednesday
just as you said, I installed it on Thursday night. I didn't get to test ride it
till Saturday morning. My test ride took 3 weeks and 9,800 miles. Tempe AZ. to
Alaska and return with a few side trip. What a difference the Aero Flow made. I
rode 12 days with my rain gear on. Two of those days were in heavy rain for
about two hundred miles each time and the Aero Flow made life easy. Going north
I was riding with a friend and 420 miles a day was about all he wanted. Coming
home I was by myself and my daily average was 550 with no problem. Longest day
was 680 miles and I was actually going for an IBA saddle sore 1000 but had a
tire problem and had to stop. I will get my SS1000 before the summer is over.
Thanks so much for such a great product.

Today on a trip to Angola, IN from
South Bend, IN, I hit a bird square in the opening of my full face helmet. The
face shield was up. My 98R11GS has the AeroFlow standard size screen. My SO
said she saw the bird fly up from the side of the road. I didn't see anything
but total blackness for a fraction of a second and it felt like a soft foam
covered baseball bat hitting me directly against my face. It knocked my head
back momentarily. I all I could say was what was that?! We pulled over shortly
thereafter for a smoke and water break. When I took my glasses off and the
helmet, she saw blood on my face. Must have been the bird's cause I was ok.
Anyway, the point is that I can see over the windscreen, but it still deflects
the air over my head enough to prevent buffeting. Some rain, bugs, and now
birds:-), hit the helmet and face shield, but my torso is well protected. So,
ask around how people like the aeroflow, I like it on the GS.

Dear Aeroflow,
Wow!!! Am I happy with your product. I ordered and received a half fairing for
my BMW R1100GS within a week. The installation instructions were great, it fit
right on, didn't take very long to install and I really like the bigger
windshield. With my stock smaller fairing the wind hit me right in the nose (I
am 6 foot tall). Now the wind goes right over the top of my helmet. As far as
appearance, I think the bigger fairing gives a better balance. It offsets the
bulk in the back, the saddle bags.
Thanks,
Dan Kolean
Hello geniuses at Aeroflow, Love
the product. Have had the Aeroflow screen (Intermediate height) and AeroGards
on my 1998 R1100GS for about 12 months. Turns the GS into a faultless high
speed tourer on dirt or tar. Reduces the noise & wind buffeting considerably.

Hi Paige-
I installed the AeroGards and I must say, the ride now is unreal! Those lowers
are exactly what I've been looking. I didn't think anything was going to work on
my GS to help the wind nightmare, so I can't tell you how stoked I am that you
make the AeroGards. Thanks again!

I want to take
this opportunity to check in with everyone and say HELLO. Here is my
story about the Alcan 5000. I sent it to BMW Motorcycle Owners of America in
December and it finally hit the magazine this month. Read it and reminisce about
the great time we had.

Yesterday I called
as asked for a faxed set of instructions to mount a windscreen on my
just-purchased '98 R1100GS. The bike came with a stock windscreen on it and with
an Aeroflow, just unmounted. Having the Aeroflow in the package was a big
selling feature for me. I cleaned it up an put it on last night after work while
the temperatures was a balmy 68 degrees. I did a couple of other little
clean-up jobs and didn't get a chance to test drive the Aeroflow. This morning,
the temperatures are in the 20's and we have some sleet and snow. Looks like my
test drive is postponed for a couple of days. Thank you for the instant customer
service. I am anxious to reap the benefits of this much touted windscreen.
