I've owned and used your Aeroflow wind screen for 22,000 miles
now on my R1150RT. I write, because, while riding hard through IA, KS, OK, and
TX, I hit a LOT of constant, very heavy rain through that whole line of states.
I also rode at night during the very heavy rain. Riding in flooding conditions
of heavy rain, despite cars having to stop on the road at night, I had a safe,
clear view of the road ahead of me, just above the screen. I've been a
rider since the late '60's, and on rare occasions, I get into these extreme
conditions. This was a memorable and extreme one. Thanks for the time and effort
you put into designing a screen that performs so well in these extreme
conditions.

I purchased your headlight guard when I bought my 2004
R1150RTL. It has saved my headlight on several occasions from rocks thrown from
cars and trucks. It is a breeze to clean and looks great on the bike. Recently I
purchased your windshield from Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg Va where I
purchased the headlight guard. Today was the first time I had the chance to try
it on the bike. All I can say is wow!!! What a difference the extra 4" on the
side and 3.25" on the top make. Your design is superb in deflecting the wind
away from the rider. I was able to ride with out ear plugs and lower the volume
on the radio from 24 to 18 to hear clear voices and music at 70 miles per hour.
All I can say is BMW should make your shield their stock shield.

Dear Mr. Ortiz,
I purchased your AeroFlow windscreen for the R1100RT a couple months ago after
seeing your ad in BMW Owners magazine. As I was explaining my height concerns to
your order department, (I'm 6'7") she asked me if I would like to speak
to someone who "knew" how incredibly hard it is to get anything that
accommodates the taller rider, which happened to be you. At the time I was
contemplating getting a Parabellum, and I promised to try both makers out to see
which was superior for a guy my size. I tried to get their number from BMW
Owners magazine, but the number they gave me was disconnected. I even called
back to see if I wrote the number down wrong, but to no avail. So I have no
report on how they compare to yours, but I know one thing for sure, I love your
windshield and so does my fiancé. After 9,000 miles of bliss so far this year
with your windshield, my ears don't ring after a long ride, and all you can hear
is the steady hum of the engine. I can even hear the crickets at night with a
full faced helmet! It has really given me much in the way of riding enjoyment,
and I appreciate the time you spent with me on the phone that day. Great
product! The HeadLight Cover also works great too. I usually end up behind
my friend who also owns a R1100RT, and they do kick up stones, so I'm sure that
I'd be buying a new headlight by now at the rate we travel. (fast)!!

I just took my first ride with your new windshield this
morning and wanted to let you know right away what a big difference it makes and
how happy I am with it. Wind noise is reduced tremendously and so is helmet
buffeting. I also received the windshield much faster than anticipated.

I have just returned from my first ride after installing your
Aeroflow demo screen on my '99 RT. What an amazing difference from both the
regular and tall stock screens I have. Buffeting and wind noise are no longer an
issue and I can ride at highway speeds with my face shield up and still see over
the screen. My wife who is my regular passenger, rode with her face shield up
for the very first time is also very impressed with the new screen and we can
talk without shouting at each other. I could not find any blemishes or marks on
the demo screen you sold me, so as far as I am concerned I bought a new screen
for a demo price. Christine at your order desk was very pleasant and helpful and
the screen arrived here in Canada one week after placing the order with no
hassles at customs. Thanks Christine.
Best regards,

I just installed one of your windshields on my R1150RT. It really does work
great at creating a quite envelope of air around the driver and passenger. I
wish I had found this product a year ago when I first bought my bike. Keep up
the good work.

Screen arrived on Friday - how did you arrange to get it through customs so
quickly? Fitted yesterday and "tested" on a 30 minute ride. Very good, my wife's
head is not now being battered off! Many thanks again.

Dave
I recently ordered and received your windscreen for the BMW R1100RT. I read
about it in a Motorcycle Consumer News report on the R1100RT. They had nothing
but praise for it so I had to try it. I just recently bought my BMW and it is my
first one, so all of this is new to me. The stock windscreen was very good and
the BMW Tall windscreen was even better, but it lacked something. Today I rode
my bike for the first time with your windscreen on it. There is no comparing it
to the originals. With the originals, I has some buffeting on my helmet and
shoulders, but with your windscreen, there was airflow, but no buffeting or
roughness. The wind was a smooth as silk. I complement you on one fantastic
design, keep up the good work.

Thank you for being so nice to me the other day when I ordered
my second replacement windshield for the BMW R1100RT. The second one is for a
friend of mine who just purchased a bike like mine. I thought that I would write
to thank you and your company for a really fine product. The larger windshield
that you manufacture and sell is so far superior to the stock one supplied by
BMW that there is just no comparison. There are two distinct advantages to your
windshield. Number one it makes the bike so much quieter by eliminating wind
noise as it comes back together on the back side of the windshield. Number two
it includes the passenger in the cocoon of still air by moving the convergence
point of the wind coming back together much further back. It also completely
eliminates the buffeting around the head that the rear passenger always had to
endure with the stock windshield.

Thank you and the folks
there at Aeroflow for the quick response to my question about the first
Aeroflow delivered. The new one hasn't arrived yet--I expect it probably
early this week as the first one got here in jig time! Anyway, to get to the
main point, I hadn't much chance before yesterday to test the Aeroflow for my
R1150RT Beemer until our 4 hour ride yesterday that encompassed both
Interstate and local route riding, often at a brisk pace, and definitely in
the 60s and 70+ mphs on the Interstate. I have a 3/4 Shoei, and a full-face Shuberth
Concept helmet. I much prefer the Concept as it is full face and comfortable,
but it has one drawback--it's noisier than you-know-where -- or at least it
was with either of the OEM windshields on the bike. When wearing the
quieter Shoei, and with either of the OEM windshields set no matter at what
height, all I still ever heard was wind roar except when I was stopped with
the engine running at a rest area. On Interstates, even with the quieter Shoei,
I always wore ear plugs, and on Interstate travel the wind roar, even in the
quieter Shoei, ear plugs notwithstanding, was really wearing after but a few
hours--and the ear plugs I use are the ones with the highest noise-attenuation
numbers!
But yesterday, with the
Aeroflow on the bike, wearing the loud, but safer and comfortable full-face
Schuberth, I could, even at 75, hear the engine and gear noise (what there is
of it on a Beemer) for the first time at speed! Little wind noise at all by
comparison with the OEMs! Things were REALLY quieter! I wish I'd known about
and bought an Aeroflow a year ago when I first rolled the Bike off the
showroom floor! And, I discovered that I didn't have to raise the Aeroflow
much at all on the interstate... just a wee bit put the air just about up and
over the top of the helmet. The air never went over the top of the helmet
before even with the OEMs at full extension (which made the bike look less
aerodynamic than it is)... I used to regularly exterminate bugs with the part
of the helmet at the top of or just above its face shield! But yesterday, not
bug one!
Fellow BMW-RTer, Walt Halaja, who
led the ride yesterday, has an Aeroflow on his Bike also. I hadn't noticed it
before and we got to talking about it. He loves it. He commutes to work
solely on the bike (He's a fireman--one of Pittsburgh's finest) in all kinds
of weather winter and summer and says that the only thing that ever gets wet
or snowy when riding now with the Aeroflow on the bike are the feet of his
boots!
A great product!
Thanks!
Ralph
Thank you
for your prompt attention to our order for an AeroScreen (2003 BMW R1150RT).
It arrived safely, and we tested it out yesterday. We had a major
reduction in wind noise, no wind buffeting and it has greatly increased rider
and pillion comfort!
Many thanks and best wishes for 2007.
