●The AeroFlow Solution
The AeroScreen is taller, closer to the driver, and 3” wider
at the top than the stock screen.
Designed to allow the driver to see over the screen while
providing optimum protection for both driver and passenger.
2 Heights available to suit all drivers.
●AeroScreen Design
Fits all model years.
The AeroScreen has several notable features incorporated into
the design that contribute to its performance.
Flares at the top and sides
expand the envelope of protection for solo or 2-up riding.
A large NACA duct
shape, molded into the screen, serves two purposes. It adds rigidity to the
plastic, but more importantly, it speeds and directs airflow up the center of
the screen for enhanced protection.
●Airflow Management Kit
Included for 2005-2009 Only. Not required for the 2010 R1200RT.
Included with the '05-'09 AeroScreen is an “Airflow Management Kit” which consists of
3 Deflectors. The
Airflow Management Kit stops airflow from rushing under the screen
and hitting the driver’s body as the screen is raised. The third deflector
reattaches airflow from the dash area to the back of the screen. When
airflow from both sides of the screen combines, they smooth out the airflow
leaving the top of the screen eliminating turbulence. The AirFlow
Management Kit is not required for the 2010 R1200RT due to changes in the BMW
stock mounting hole cover.
●2 Heights available to suit all drivers
Heights measure vertically from top/center of headlight with
a yard stick, screen in the down position.
Medium: 22 1/4" (3 1/8" taller than stock)
Tall: 22 7/8" (3 3/4" taller than stock)
●Height Recommendations:
The best way to determine the correct height, is to measure the heights
available and go with the tallest one you can easily/comfortably see over.
Medium: Drivers up to 6'1"
Tall: Drivers 6'2" and up
●Wider
than stock
3" wider than stock at the top. 1" wider than stock at the widest
point.
